What we collect
We collect the information needed to provide Samarr: your email, account and Telegram connection details, profile preferences, learning spaces, uploaded materials, study activity, and subscription or payment-request metadata.
How we use it
We use this information to sign you in, personalize your learning path, generate summaries and practice materials, send reminders you enable, process support requests, protect the service, and understand which product experiences are useful.
AI and uploaded materials
When you upload a material or ask the tutor a question, relevant content may be sent to a third-party AI provider so Samarr can generate an answer, summary, quiz, or learning activity. Do not upload confidential information that you are not allowed to share. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and should be checked.
Telegram reminders
If you link Telegram and enable reminders, we use the linked Telegram identifier and your reminder preferences to send study notifications. You can disable reminders or unlink Telegram from your profile at any time.
Analytics and choices
Samarr may collect product-usage events to improve onboarding and learning outcomes. You can turn off optional analytics in Profile → Privacy & data. You can also request a copy of your data or request account deletion from the same section.
Storage and retention
We keep information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed for support, security, legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Deletion requests are reviewed and handled according to our retention and backup processes.
Children and guardians
If you are under the age required to consent to online services where you live, use Samarr with a parent or guardian’s permission. Parents or guardians can contact us about a child’s account or data.
